The Nurture Ministry strives to provide for the nurture of persons above the age of confirmation. We offer several Sunday school classes, seasonal study opportunities, and small groups.
Bridge Builders - Meeting in the Reception Room on Sundays at 9:40 am, this class is participatory and discussion-based, sharing ideas related to aspects of modern Christian life, with emphasis on family issues. Joanne Carpenter is the facilitator and can be contacted at Joanne.Carpenter.
Enquirers Adult Bible Study Class - This class of mature Christians meets in the Annex and uses the PC (USA) curriculum, The Present Word. Emerson Flurkey facilitates this class with occasional guest teachers.
Women's Bible Study - meets in room 10 of the CE Wing. Leadership rotates among a team of class members. The class also maintains a prayer journal so prayer for one another's needs and concerns can be offered. Contact Summer Reilly for more information.
Exegesis Class - (Critical explanation or analysis of a text: Greek) This in-depth Bible study class meets in Room 16 of the lower level of the Christian Education wing. Bill Stout facilitates this class, which is studying the life and writings of Paul. Be sure to bring your Bible!

SEEKRETS (Adult faith group) – Life is full of secrets – unknown by you – by everyone. Secrets can be about almost anything. What we would like to know, but don’t. We can try all alone to find out or we can choose to be with others while searching. This is what SEEKRETS is all about – looking at life and faith together. This class is coordinated by Mary Simmonds and Tucker Thompson and meets in the library.
MOMS (Making Our Mothering Special) - This group gathers for sharing, prayer and study in the quilting room (south west corner off of Fellowship Hall.) The group is using “The 100 Most Important Bible Verses for Mothers” for their study. For more information about the group contact facilitators, Sue Roquemore
